Request for information on the Majola clan

11318906-seoI have read the story of one of your members, Sindisiwe Majola…and we also from the same Clan but that’s the only details that I know about my family tree. I wanted to be able to be in contact with her and maybe I might find out who I really am.

    I live in Umsinga and we have started Isihlahla SikaMajola Organasation to promote co operation among Majola clan. It is said that we originate from Nigeria when people were created. We moved down south to INkandla where we than scatered with others going as far as Eastern Cape before and during the Shaka battles. those became aMaXhosa while those all over KwaZulu and Natal became AmaZulu. We are related as Zulus and Xhosas but our ancestral names names (iziboingo namagama) may differ a little. Izithakazo zithi Majola, Dudula, Yeyesa, Wana uhamba uyasisitheka okwemvu yasolwandle, Wena waseMngeni, We owaqhumaphansi njengekhowandlovu, mnguni…
    Umabesho bathi uMajola, uNgqulunga, uMchunu babezalwa ubaba oyedwa uMnguni.

    I’m a majola i knw a few clan of my surname they say thus…majola mchunu ndabezitha waphakade owadla iduna wasutha wadla insikazi walamba .they say we are divided into 2.the amachunu and amampondo which clan by ngqulunga excluding mchunu while the other type is called amachunu because they clan by mchunu.
